An orthopedic feeding bowl for cats and small dogs. The stand lifts the food up and tilts the bowl 15°, so your pet eats with a level head and a flat back instead of folding down to the floor.

Two heights

  • Small, 4.3 in tall. Round bowl, 5.9 x 5.1 in, holds about 14.5 fl oz. For cats and most small dogs, up to about 25 lb: Chihuahua, Yorkie, Shih Tzu, Pug, French Bulldog, Dachshund, Mini Schnauzer.
  • Medium, 5.9 in tall. Wide bowl, 9.8 x 7.5 in, holds about 1.2 L. For taller dogs from about 25 lb, like a Beagle or a Cocker Spaniel.

Not sure? While your pet stands, measure from the floor to the bottom of their chest. Under 8 in, take Small. Between two sizes, take Small.

Why it is tilted

The 15° tilt brings the food down to the low, wide edge, so the last bite comes to them. The bowl is wide and shallow (2 in deep), so whiskers do not press against the sides.

Not for large, deep-chested dogs

Some studies link raised feeders with a higher risk of bloat (GDV) in large, deep-chested breeds such as Great Danes, German Shepherds or Boxers. This bowl is made for cats and small dogs. If your dog is a large breed, ask your vet first.
